Prime Minister Holds High Level Security Briefing on Sunsari Situation

Prime Minister Reviews Sunsari Security Situation Prime Minister Balendra Shah held a high level security briefing at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers to assess the latest security situation in Sunsari. In the presence of Home Minister Sudhan Gurung, the Prime Minister separately met Nepal Police Inspector General Dan Bahadur Karki and Armed Police Force Inspector General Narayan Dutta Poudel to receive detailed updates. During the meeting, the Prime Minister instructed security agencies to ensure the safety of citizens, maintain law and order, closely monitor activities that could disrupt social harmony, and remain on high alert. The government stated that security agencies have been directed to take necessary measures to maintain peace and respond promptly to any situation that may threaten public safety.
